This initiative resulted from the collaboration of 2 entities:

• the Ministry of Justice’s Secretaria Nacional do Consumidor (Senacon);
• the Ministry of Finance’s Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA).

This effort seeks to enhance transparency in the industry and bolster the protection of user rights in the swiftly evolving digital betting sector. The platform, which gathers complaints from various niches, has already addressed an impressive 8.9+ million inquiries. The satisfaction rate for dispute resolution stands at approximately 81%.

According to the authorities’ representatives, the integration of bookmakers into this network is anticipated to enhance user confidence. This measure will enable the National Consumer Protection System’s bodies to oversee this vertical with greater efficiency. Through this service, players will have the opportunity to inquire with signed brands regarding their questions directly.

The interaction process consists of several steps:

1. Submitting a complaint. The gambler posts a query to the chosen bookmaker through the portal.
2. Awaiting a response. The operator has 240 hours to formulate and dispatch a reply with a proposed solution.
3. Assessing ratings. Within 20 days, the applicant evaluates if the issue has been resolved and submits a review reflecting the quality of the service received.

To verify a sportsbook’s licences, bettors can visit Consumidor.gov.br and type the brand’s name into the search bar. Brazil’s government asserts that this is the quickest and most dependable method for clients to ensure they are receiving legitimate propositions from a certified label.
