Key Information Regarding the Legislative Updates

Novel regulations have been officially incorporated into law through Supreme Decree No. 004-2025-MINCETUR, superseding the previous framework established in 2002. The primary goal of the new directorate and supervision model is to modernise and reinforce the sphere, thereby elevating the efficiency and quality of iGaming services provided to residents.

The proposal to revise the structure aligns completely with the legislative norms that determine the functionality of the digital gambling vertical.

The initiative is endorsed by the following Laws:

• No. 31557, describing the organisation of remote games and bets;
• No. 32392, focused on tourism-related operations in the state.

The novel authority will become part of DGJCMT, a larger organisation led by Yuri Guerra Padilla.

Among the innovations is the establishment of the Tourism Investment Directorate in accordance with the DGET strategy. Furthermore, the government has backed the programme aimed at bolstering the UICET division.
