SBC Summit 2025 to Organise Academy for Web 3.0 and Blockchain in Lisbon

SBC Summit 2025 will introduce a new educational initiative, the Web 3.0 & Blockchain Academy. The platform is designed to provide practical learning opportunities in decentralised systems, helping delegates explore how these technologies are built and applied. The agenda will combine panel talks, interactive workshops, and a live audience session with marketing expert Gary Vaynerchuk.

Potential of Digital Technology Solutions

The new educational initiative belongs to the broader SBC’s Tech Academies framework. It will take place on Wednesday, 17 September, as part of the Lisbon summit.

The forum will deliver hands-on experience across 4 areas:

• artificial intelligence;
• digital marketing;
• Web 3.0 & blockchain;
• gamification.

Each track is structured to deliver applied knowledge that professionals can use directly in their businesses.

The event will gather:

• senior executives.

Delegates will gain insight into how these technologies are created, how they are applied in real cases, and what they mean for digital industries.

SBC’s CEO Rasmus Sojmark noted that decentralised solutions return ownership of core assets like data, identity, and finances to the user. He highlighted that this shift from centralised platforms to self-managed systems is a critical development that every company should understand, as it is set to reshape industry models.

Academy’s Programme

The agenda begins with the session aimed at outlining the origins and prospects of various nice innovations. The discussion will feature ZisK’s and The Sandbox’s founders, and will be moderated by Eddie Marques of Web3 District. Speakers will explain how these innovations emerged and their potential to reshape both society and commerce.

One of the most anticipated parts of the day will be the Q&A session with Mr Vaynerchuk. His talk, “NFTs, Crypto & Blockchain: Beyond the Buzz What Actually Matters”, will address common misconceptions. The speaker will explain how businesses can effectively adopt these technologies to enhance engagement, foster customer loyalty, and achieve long-term growth.

After a short networking break, delegates will join a programme of 20-minute workshops exploring how non-centralised models work in practice.

The seminar themes include:

• Digital profiles. KILT Protocol’s CEO will explain how blockchain can verify identity without oversharing and how Web3 tools help safeguard intellectual property and personal information.
• Smart contracts. AuditChain’s Founder will demonstrate how blockchain converts legal agreements into self-executing code, streamlining payments, deliveries, and regulatory compliance.
• Traffic quality and bot prevention. Biconomy’s CEO will examine how blockchain, gamification, and AI work together to detect real users, obstruct automated activity, and encourage genuine participation.

Further sessions will expand into areas such as AI-driven systems, crypto transactions, and regulatory frameworks. Delegates will also attend a live demonstration on creating AI-powered applications without coding skills, learn how automated payments and intelligent agents can optimise efficiency, and hear case studies on building crypto-based startups.

The academy will be part of the SBC Summit 2025, held at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena from 16 to 18 September. More than 30,000 visitors are expected, with a schedule that features a six-track conference, a large-scale exhibition, dedicated forums for affiliate and payment specialists, and extensive networking opportunities.
